Blackberry Leaf Tea

Blackberry leaves make a lovely tea which not only tastes good but also eases a sore throat.

Young blackberry leaves are rich in Vitamin C and tannins, and have been used medicinally since Roman times.
The tea is best made with fresh young leaves gathered in the spring time. Wash them and then throw a handful into a teapot, steep and add sugar to taste.
Don’t drink too much of it454283867_XS though – an excessive amount might cause tummy upsets and sickness.
