Hi there, we have had some technical difficulties with adding a blog but we have sorted it now! We have been working hard in Eagles’ class. We have visited the farm, picked blackberries and started to learn about why WW1 started. Next week we are writing a Diary of a Blackberry!
We have read ‘Archies War’ by Marcia Williams and ‘The Matchbox Diary’ by Paul Fleisehman to help us learn about scrap books and keeping a collection of something. We have also been blackberry picking because children in WW1 had to do it all afternoon, everyday rain or shine! Maisie, Year 4
